Enjoy Wilderness Seclusion With All The Comforts of Home
Come visit and experience the Adirondacks on your own terms, on your own schedule, at your own pace throughout the year.
The Bear Cub Camp is located in the St. Regis region, home of "Great Camps" and rustic wilderness vacations for over one hundred years. It is still unspoiled....and available to you.
Bear Cub Camp is located on twenty-one acres of secluded forest bordered by New York State protected forests and overlooking Upper St. Regis Lake. It is adjacent to the world famous St. Regis Canoe Area with one of the canoe portages bordering the property. A private lean-to campsite on nearby Bear Pond is available for exclusive use by guests. Access is provided via boat or a private one and a half mile unpaved driveway.
Find adventure without leaving the premises. Swimming, boating, hiking, sailing, canoeing, fishing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing are available literally right outside your door. A short ride provides opportunities to visit the Paul Smith's College, and Visitor Interpretive Center, The Wild Center, The Adirondack Museum, local golf courses, Whiteface Mountain, the villages of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid and the entire Adirondack Park.
